>>25192137>People use the same Pokemon because they're powerful Pokemon. No Bro, I get what you mean but they're only strong, not the strongest (as many just assume, not you I guess). The most popular don't all have the highest BST for example.
They are the "strongest" because of how they play, move set, abilities, type, stats relative to what else is being played at the time.
If everyone just plays the same shit till some random pachirisu gets in on a team, it's cause less people are making interesting ideas work.
It's kinda contradictory, but it seems like the attitude behind most inject/gen perfmon teams is assisting the stagnation of the multiplayer meta, instead of encouraging people to have ease and freedom to try new shit - the same attitude of seeing only strong or weak is the one that doesn't have a deeper sense of fun in pokemon, and also doesn't foster an altruistic and fun multiplayer culture.
And just to be clear to save you (You)ing, I'm not saying anything about pro or con inject/gen, but there is a correlation here with attitude towards and enjoyment of pokemon.
The themes in pokemon are not just a computer game where shit is (ironically) binary. It's about spirit and individual values (pun interestingly unintended) and all that amazing stuff that suffers in our world, yet means something and is embodied in the pokemon world.
