It is going to happen, for it always happens, but honestly the games do not have a single aspect of them that I can imagine someone can find a way to defend.
They can't praise the story and characters, since they were awful.
They can't praise the region, since it is the worst design, both in layout and visually, that any location of the series has had.
They can't praise the Pokemons, since out of nearly 100 designs less than 10 are even passable.
They can't praise the game, since they are piss easy and sluggish and generally void of any interesting scenarios or level design for any area.
So... how? How can someone realistically pretend it is not an all-time-low for the franchise?
