I'm just a reasonably competent pixel artist with no experience in creating romhacks.
I've started off with designing some assets, rn i've made a few tiles and replicated the tile layout from another image to see how the tiles would look ingame. Long-term im hoping to make a fakemon game but right now i want to do something small to see what i am capable of creating.
