Funny enough that was actually my second ever challenge run at all. I wrapped up a Mono-Ground run of SoulSilver the day before I started this. (I should've done it on HeartGold btw, you miss out on Donphan, Gliscor and Claydol if you repeat my mistake). Rules were:
>Only ground types or Mons that evolve into ground types (Lizzie the Nidoqueen played a big role in both runs)>No items in battle but held items are okay>No outlevelling the incoming Gym Leader's/Elite Four's AceI carried the last two rules over into the Nuzlocke run, making it a 'Hardcore' Nuzlocke.
I'm finally getting back into Pokémon again after years, and I want to really learn how the game plays at a more advanced level.
I'll probably do a casual HG or Black run, try and use Pokémon I've never used before (Funny enough I had never used Slowbro or Lapras before, and now I know their sheer power. I want to discover more Pokémon I slept on as a kid.)
