Orzabal also travelled with a Beheeyem that he raised as his own child far before they both kidnapped Murdoch. Although he's certainly not a very nice Pokémon on the surface, he doesn't want wanton fighting or anything like that. The world they live in is one where humans and Pokémon are constantly on the cusp of violent conflict with one another, and he's scheming of a way to "peacefully" unite them, even if it's a way that many would refuse to accept.
What's your Mystery Dungeon story about? Grand adventures without humans and seeing the more wild side of the Pokémon world from one of their perspectives is a refreshing concept for me, at least.
