I keep a female Swellow in each game descended from the Swellow I caught in Sapphire, because she helped me get through the game more than my starter did.
The one I have in Y now is used for switching into obvious ghost/ground moves, or revenge killing. Facade and Brave Bird put large dents in a lot of things just under Swellow's speed tier if they don't just get OHKO'd.
