Playing this now, just got to Olivine, and I realized they screwed us over for fire types if you didn't pick Cyndaquil. The only option as far as I can tell is Growlithe which is gonna be a huge pain in the ass to evolve. Magmar was in the Burned Tower in G/S but apparently now it's only in Mt. Silver. Why would they do that? What does that add to the game?
