The synchro machine is a lot of fun to think about
Autisming a bit but I imagine the technology being so experimental is why you aren't really supposed to use them outside of the school (ignoring the actual real reason being that it wasn't available until the dlc lol) and it can get dangerous pretty quickly
You risk getting lost in the mind of a Pokemon if you sync with it unprepared or if it fights you off, or in Kieran's case after he had sex in Hydrapple's body he was too overwhelmed and tired to maintain control any longer so his consciousness took a back seat
And nothing is to stop the unoccupied body from still suffering spasms or other physical effects based on what they're doing with their Pokemon, not to mention they're basically defenseless in such a state
Imagine someone stealing a synchro machine right out of your hands and leaving you trapped in a Pokemon body haha
Psychosomatic injury is a big risk, too, albeit it's probably only temporary in most cases
The synchro machine is ripe for so much fetish fuel and I can't wait to see it played with more
