OK but how wild would it be if they used this plot/opportunity to introduce a new typing in an exciting way?

Fairy was introduced like "oh, BTW we found a new type. Turns out a bunch of pokemon were immune to dragon moves this whole time!! Hurdurrr"

No, we get fairy types from some crazy alternate dimension and the wormholes or portals PR whatever awaked the fairy typing latent in some pokemon like clefairy which is already some mysterious moon pokemon - who's to say it's not from another dimension originally and got normalized from being in the other universe too long?

But I guess that requires too much forethought for GF.

Ultra Beasts have to be unnerving and off-putting yet aesthetically pleasing. Also symmetrical. I feel the symmetry is the most important aspect of it all. And all the fakes I've seen before think that outrageous proportions and appendages makes for a compelling alien-like Pokémon.

Does anyone know:

1.Are Luunala/Solgaleo UBs ?
2.Do UBs exist in the Pokedex and do they have their own numbers ? (Because I still dont know if we can consider them as Pokemon officially).
3.Are Luunala/Solgaleo a branch evolution that starts from Cosmog ? If yes - under what conditions the evolution takes place.
4.Do we know the Pokedex entry for Marshadow ? Whats its role in Pokemon Universe ?
5.Do we have the full national Pokedex with numbers and names to see somewhere ?
6.And finally: Are UBs connected somehow to the human characters they resemble - if yes - why they resemble them.
