(For the purposes of my specific story, some Pokemon have for the lack of a better term inherited a human "essence" that would allow them to progress as sapients for the purposes of facilitating a functioning civilization.)
One question to be answered is how would the nations of such a world function? Perhaps it would operate in a caste system based on one's ability to interact with technology. From there, type, size, intellect, species, all of these things would affect the development of such civilizations. What other intricacies and details would one need to factor for when crafting such a civilization? Who knows? It is something to be explored.
Thus ends this tangent of mine for the time being. If anything else pops up, I will iterate upon it. On another note, I will post said master document for anyone to critique and comment upon once I am done with revising it in its current state. For now, I shall review the other comments made in this thread.
