The DNA theme has to do with Flare forcing evolutions onto Pokémon who would never evolve otherwise, giving them all a darker and corrupted look. The boss could use Grunt 'mons with MegaEvolutions to showcase it. Had the idea of forced evos from Day 1 and I hope it's true.
