>>55440825>I need to be very certain about the transitional materialIt is nice that you do not just retell the same story even when that is the easy way out to concluding it. However, that does mean more difficulty for you as you tackle the character interactions resulting from seeking a more original ending. Perhaps too much difficulty to the point of making no progress, considering the descriptions you have provided along with how long you have spent developing this story.
I myself would have chosen major simplifications in character interactions, such as no more than 4 characters "on screen" at any given moment, just for my sake as although the end product of such interactions can be highly memorable, writing them is both far more difficult and time consuming than a straightforward 2-way interaction.
At the same time, I am also not sure just how complex these interactions are that you are dealing with as I only know the glimpses you have shared of your story and not the full text.
>>55441558>I fourth-walled my use of namesA neat little bit of trivia that I did not spot. It makes me wonder how many more "secrets" and references like these are hidden throughout your stories.
The unfortunate nature of writing is that how you imagine your stories and details will never be identical to how readers perceive it. I figure there are plenty more small details like these that I did not pick up simply because it requires paying extra attention or making assumptions that I would rather doubt than accept simply because the detail seems sufficiently innocuous.
