This generation seems to be the worst offender of "it just gets bigger". I find it ridiculous that they felt the need to give pawmi a 3 stage evolution line, i couldnt even tell that the final stage was a different mon. Bramblin couldve just been a 1 stage shitmon, having an evolution that just adds more branches is completely uninspired. Maushold as well, its a funny gimmick but shit design. The minecraft salt is absolute dogshit, the pepper is completely boring, for the first fire grass type they went with the most basic idea and still made it lame. The only good designs seem to be the ones that already used pokemon from previous gens as a base. This honestly feels worse than gen 8. GF needs to sort out whatever the fuck is going on with their artistic team. I was going to buy Scarlet but after thisI have no desire to play pokemon
