Yes, I do.

Ehhh. They've never really been valuable objectively but they've definitely diminished in value if you care about the rarity of them. I personally don't really care, I just like getting cool variations of my favourites.

Not a fan. For uncatchable Pokémon like your first battle its a good thing, but I'm not fond of something like starters being locked.

I liked SOS chaining a lot when that was a thing. Used to do Masuda Method a lot but in SV I just use level 2 encounter sandwiches and run around in fields.

Only in specific cases (like pic rel) or if I have a fitting ball handy.

Favourites: Koffing/Weezing, Ariados, Duskull, Spiritomb
Least Favourite: Hmm. Wyrdeer's is pretty bad. Ursaring too - I like some of the infamous green shinies but Ursarings just doesn't fit at all.
