The 200 BP ability changer item doesn't let you return Dream World abilities to regular ones, it only lets you switch between the two standard abilities. If the poke has one standard ability, it won't work at all.
Here's my question. How are we supposed to get dream world abilities for non-Friend Safari pokes? Every entire friend safari combination has been found, so we know all the dream worlders we can get... Can Dream World Dittos possibly create children with dream world skills? I don't think so but haven't tested it. Is there still a way to upload pokemon to that silly Dream World browser game thing (the old way?)
