Imagine riding your bike, followed by some of your pokémon (running or flying, trying to catch up). It's a cloudy evening, this route is mostly empty as people go inside when it's about to rain. The road is near a cliff and you can hear the waves. At a distance you see this 7/11 looking pokémon center. Oh yeah, time to get in, heal your pkmn, maybe buy some stuff, eat something, make some friends, stay for a little bit while you wait for the rain to stop.
No other game could offer this experience, and yet Pokémon ain't delivering it either.
