New PC so I don't have any old stuff to post lmao
>>48499321ToTT: Jonno was attacked by Scolipedes as a kid, trying to defend a baby Caterpie. Bold sure, but he was scared shitless and nearly didn't survive and subsequently blocked a lot of that out from his memory, becoming a more naturally timid and passive person. While he's gotten past it now, he still tends to be a bit jumpy and has to really psyche himself up to not run away from a dangerous situation - like a horde of angry Scyther.
>>48505853Being a Bug gym leader, Jonno knows that being a type specialist is fun and a good way to indulge ones hobbies/interests, but he always tries to promote team diversity by throwing in the odd unexpected mon into his gym challenges like his Rhyperior or Feraligatr. OOC, I don't think there's any hardcore rules into designing a type specialist or any character, but if you want to convey that aspect easily via visuals, then color and outfit choices really help.
EG) If I wanted to make Jonno look more like a bug-type leader he'd probably have a camo outfit with browns, maybe some leafy accessories and a bunch of pens and papers, a net and jars so he can do bug research more easily. If all else fails though, just make Pokemon themed clothing.
>>48510277Highly setting dependent. Your average joe-schmoe isn't likely to see Zacian running around, but a chance encounter for a story or an RP setting is always a thing. Could be an area in the world prone to Ultra Wormholes so UBs are commonplace, or maybe you just say screw it and every Tom, Dick and Larry can have a Mewtwo bc he's cool.
Were it up to me, Jonno would be hunting down a Genesect with his own Pheromosa and Buzzwole but if I really wanted to explore that idea I could write my own story - for the purposes of a big RP setting, I'm happy with him not having them.
