>>53053220After I got over my Water type obsession phase because of Blastoise and I love Nautical themes which I tried to become a knockoff Sailor class, I used to be a Bug Maniac and it was the only type I'll used, sometimes I had to get into debates with my younger Brother trying to defend the usefulness of Bug Pokemon like being good status conditioners and synergic teamplayers while he sees them as useless and only believe in the Unga Bunga way of only damage moves matters also he doesn't like Bug IRL while I actually like Bugs IRL.
GF were giving Bug types powerspikes to where they weren't seen as just fodder, but some of the newer Gen 9 Bugs are Suicidal teammates...
I still like Water types, but I been ignoring them mostly, I still catch Bug types for mostly Novelty reasons and usually use the ones that you can tell GF actually cares about because those ones are the only ones who aren't sabotaged into fodder, but now I'm mostly a Fairy Main for so many reasons and it's cool there's finally a Bug/Fairy mon.
The Crustle line is my favorite Bug mon, btw, with the Parasect line in 2nd, because Crabs are my favorite in Pokemon and Animal IRL, so it's safe to assume I like every Crustacean mon like the newest one Klawf, I even like Crabominable which I didn't even like before until Tinkaton learning Ice Hammer from it which forced me to raise one and it just grew on me since then, and Orbeetle is my 3rd because it's a Badnik.
It's a shame, we may never see Mega Beedrill/Pinsir/Heracross again...
Bugs are great, they are one of the types who aren't just one color and have such unique designs.
