After that it's all been pretty tame, about to get an encounter in some grass in Rustboro since apparently they added that, along with a Wishing Well that you put Stars into for a free level 1 random Pokemon. Gonna give myself a rule that that counts as a special encounter and I can only do it once per badge for a little bit of extra options. I threw in the star and got a level 1 Voltorb, which I gave a Small Exp Candy and it jumped up to level 9.
