>>50493972This is the thing. If all Niantic were doing were obvious attempts at increasing profits ie those hilariously overpriced event tickets with even more overpriced add-ons, no one would really be that bothered. If it doesn't appeal to you, you don't buy it.
The only ways this can go wrong is

But, for every person who wonders what the fuck they're doing, there's 1000 people who don't care or think they're flawless regardless. Or think someone else is to blame.
