Apparently Gamefreak employees actually liked Masuda and even greatly missed him when he was gone.
Also, some Japs who speak English properly translated some of the docs further, and it paints a different picture, apparently Ohmori sold Masuda out to the higher ups by embellishing Masuda and Sugimori's spat. This fucking faggot completely ruined what stability Gamefreak had as a ploy to get power for himself and get rid of Masuda for good.
Gamefreak genuinely fucking hates Ohmori and has been trying to get rid of him for a while, but sadly he will still be allowed to direct gen 10 and the outlined story and gimmicks sound fucking awful.
