>>49616993I can't speak for the latinx edgelord romhackers, but I buff the shitmons that had a role in the anime, that were my (and many others) favorites, that had a cool design, that were cool to collect cards for, thjat have nostalgic value, and which were so garbage that you don't even bother catching them unless you are larping 'gotta catch'em all' (which for some reason the mods literally ban you for saying).
There is nothing wrong with having pokemon which fall off quickly after the early game, but the old games are extremely poorly balanced to this effect.
