Gold, but I shortly traded a Sonic game on the playground for Red

Espeon for sure. Back when I played Gold for the first time, I had no idea what an Espeon was. I searched everywhere for a Water Stone for my little Eevee, but I couldn't find anything. Literally right as I went to box it, I gave it a Rare Candy, and my eyes popped out of my head in surprise. Been on every team ever since.
>Which is your favourite Gen or Region, and why?
If we're including HG/SS, then Gen 4 is my favourite. Platinum was also an amazing game. Johto is my favourite region though, because I love the sense of culture it brings.
>What do you like best about the Region or Gen that was least appealing to you?
Gen 3 had a risky change in Pokemon designs that at first, stood out like a sore thumb. However they survived the sands of time, and some of my current favourites are from that Gen.
>What is currently keeping you interested or playing Pokemon?
Personally, Shiny Hunting has been a great way to personally extend the games lifespan.
