I just like to have him stay in his middle stage for a little while, for maximum kino, but there is literally no logical reason to not just evolve him right as soon as you get a Moon Stone. Damn it. Anyway, I've pretty much made it out of this stupid cave. I'm still sad about losing Pidgey, so help me out anons: Helix or Dome fossil? I probably won't end up using either one anyway, so just pick your favorite. Who knows, with my subpar decision-making maybe they'll make it onto the team eventually.
