He knows just about every high-end restaurant in the Celadon and Viridian City areas, and would gladly treat you to any number of them, so long as he can find the time. He does have the ability to prepare a few home-cooked comfort dishes he's enjoyed since childhood, but going to someplace nice is more convenient. He's fond of wines and whiskeys, and has a pretty extensive (and expensive) collection of imports from various regions that he'd be willing to indulge you in. If he's looking to court/impress, he would absolutely spoil you, albeit in a way that's classy and not too obvious.
