ORAS removes or replaces content from the original RSE in a way that not everyone who played the original game appreciated. An HGSS-style remake would added the new shopping mall city somewhere else on the map instead of replacing Mauville, or kept the Battle Frontier and Trainer Tower and then just placed the Battle Maison somewhere else
