I feel that OP. This year my grandpa got diagnosed. It was a bit too late for him. I'm grateful for the fact that I'm about 90% sure I'm the only one he remembers out of my whole family. When he sees me and smiles it crushes me a bit on the inside, but take comfort in knowing that wherever they are, they at least think that everything is still okay. Stay strong OP.
