Pokemon also should react more to their environment. Pokemon starts a snow storm, have pokemon on the field that get hurt by it shivering. A pokemon should lie down when put to sleep. Maybe get excited after a critical hit and celebrate with your trainer after winning. Have way more idle animations and stances, too many pokemon just stand there and it's boring.
Also stop suspending flying types in the air.
