After writing that it gave me a fun idea for two Pokemon games. One were it's a sequel game (Like B2/W2) were you start as the champ after your victory in the last game. You travel the region wrongs, fixing problems and doing your best to stop some world ending bullshit. Along the way you meet a few young trainers, one of which strikes you as someone with potential. Helping that trainer on his journey you work together and stop some evil group from doing some world ending non-sense. After that you train with the elite four for what comes next. Soon the young trainer shows up at your door. If you beat him he trains and returns with a stronger team. Your level is locked and his isn't so at some point they'll overwhelm you. Annoying but it will be worth it for that wonderful moment where you take your protege and say "Congratulations Champion". The end game would be
You training and challenging him to a rematch without limits. After that you start doing title defense against more would be champs. Every know and then going to the world tournament to face off in a all champ brawl.Smaller game idea. A tower defense game where you are a gym leader. Design the gym, pick the type, place your grunts to slow them down and face off against trainers who actually manage to get to the end.
