Wow what can i say. I first played pokemon Red when I was 6 squirtle was my starter.
After falling in love with the game i got a box of all the 150 pokemon in cheap plastic toys.
I gave the Squirtle to my grandma for some reason since she baby sat me while parents were at work. She always kept it on her dashboard.
She thought it looked cute like it was trying to give you a hug.
Over the years and generations to come she'd see me playing the new pokemon games and would always ask how squirtle is doing.
I knew she didn't understand how the games worked but I said he was doing good and made an effort to find one in each game and show her so she didn't think i was just saying that.
Grandma died last November and i made sure she was buried with the Squirtle toy i gave her all those years ago.
