>>49395271You don't have to use geometry to add detail. A basic shader can consist of three textures alone. A diffuse (color), Normal map for fake lighting detail, and a Specular map. I said the added detail was "just" a specular adding to the effect because other than that, the models are flat shaded on the diffuse and even flat shaded on the NRM to allow the lighting engine to define the body form. GF doesn't even use vector coloring to enhance anything.
