Honestly I think 7th gen has dethroned 5th gen as my overall favorite. Alola feels so much more alive than any region from the last 10 years, plus all the ease-of-life stuff just make it such a nice, fun game to play through. If the game had fewer useless mons and was a little harder it'd be perfect.
