One of the reasons I don't like Ming Ming, at least from what I know of her so far, is that her appearance doesn't reflect any of what she is or what she does. Like, how is she Chinese when she 's very clearly NOT Chinese, at least in terms of her appearance? Does she speak Chinese? Is it because she practices Kung Fu? Also, how is she able to nimbly perform martial arts when she's very clearly overweight? I guess her love of cooking may play a part in her hefty physique, but I've not seen a single Black Belt or Battle Girl in the games that was as chunky as Ming Ming. I've seen the guy argue that she can move around fast despite being fat, 4 feet something tall, and having breasts 3 times the size of her head simply because it's a fantasy world, but I still don't really think that's a very good justification.
Another reason is more of a personal gripe I
and apparently a good number of others have, which is that Ming obviously has a bunch of porn that her creator commissioned art for. If he's going to make a character for the sole purpose of getting railed by their Pokémon so he can jerk off to it, he should at least own up to it. Instead, the guy always ignores or avoids the fact that Ming has been penetrated by barbed electrical lion schlong that he specifically asked for, and then acts confused when people can't take the gal seriously in any capacity.
I could go on, but like anon above me said, lots of other people have voiced their critical views on her already and I don't need to sound any more like a broken record.
