I've always loved ghost pokemon, ever since their first appearance in the first season. I thought it was really cool that scary ghosts turned out to be playful and so care free. I imagined Gengar taking out my soul and flying over my city away from all the stresses in life. Eventually Gengar ended up competitively viable for a while, and my love for gengar was strengthed, but it always came back to its appearance in the first season. I love the aesthetic of ghost pokemon in general.
