Pokemon's rotation happens September 1st every year. It's worth noting that these lists are sorted by meta share and not victories, and are only for Masters Division. For example, M Audino is the deck that won Worlds despite having half the meta share of the most popular deck.
Notice that even though Night March was the most predominant deck of the format, it didn't start off particularly strong and petered out a bit towards Worlds. Despite having a near-40% meta share in its prime, its win rate didn't entirely match that and it failed to perform at the most premier event of the year.
But these results are exclusively for major events. PTCGO is a much more casual environment where most players play and build sub-optimally thanks to the paywall, giving much more leniency using building off-meta decks.
