Think Snorlax, Slaking, Wailord, Slowbro, Hippowdon, Venusaur, etc. Some Pokemon get a variety of good moves just based on them being fat. Slack Off, Stockpile, Earthquake, Yawn, etc, are just some of the moves given to bulky/fat looking Pokemon. If he's lucky, he can get thick fat as a DW ability, although mega Venusaur already gets it. Stat distribution on bulkymons are usually high defenses, but low speed, and offenses vary.

Maybe his fat is just a result of "awkward second stage evolution" syndrome which is found in many starters in past generations, and he turns into something not shit. My money is on this one, seeing as a dark typing wouldn't fit a fatmon very well.
