Hello, /vp/. Well, I know almost all of you hate on the nostalgiafags when they bitch about how the old games were best than the new games, but where I live there is a WORST kind of nostalgiafag. In my country, for reasons I don't know, the Pokémon games are not as much as popular as the ANIME and almost every fan of Pokémon must buy the games and the consoles online, or download and play on emulators (dunno why, but yet I didn't see a Nintendo DS even in the main shops of my city). But, anyway, I'm getting off topic. The point is, if you say "Pokémon", the people will think in "oh, that cartoon with the yellow rat and the big red dragon that now is shit!" instead in "oh, is that game of the pocket monsters!" because most of them grow up with the Kanto and Johto anime seasons, and they all are like "le 90's kid" and throw shit about the new "seasons". For them, the word "generation" is replaced by "seasons", because they haven't even played the games, either the newer gens OR the originals, so most of them don't know that Pokémon is divided by generations. Can you imagine for us, the people that are fans of the franchise as a Game Franchise, talk about Pokémon and know that almost all the people don't even know the existence of the games. For they, Pokémon is just an old anime that "went downhill after Misty and Brock left". Anyway I'm just discharging my feelings with you. Often I have fun with the stupidity of the nostalgiafags but sometimes it gets annoying being so alone and have no one to share the fun of Pokémon. But that last problem is solved thanks to you, the /vp/oreons with which I can identify and talk on this board. Thanks.
