Then you have the epilogue where he finally comes back and throws a tantrum of nigh-apocalyptic proportions before promptly (and deservedly) getting btfo for the 2nd time.
And all of this because he thought he could make his parents love him more than they already did.
Pecharunt is unironically the best character in SV and I'm tired of pretending he's not.
