Simple design with a simple premise (combine a scorpion and a bat), yet doesn't incorporate too much of either. A simple design not covered in stripes or scales, that looks cool because of its concept while also having a cute edge with the tongue and proportions. There's even the twist that instead of making it the obvious poison type (It's a scorpion, scorpions are venomous), they focus on the wing aspect and make it flying/ground (Ground I presume is because both bats and scorpions are native to deserts.)
Some may consider it's evolution overdesigned but I think Gliscor does a good job of taking Gligar and making it bigger, stronger, and cooler looking, just like what Pokémon evolution is supposed to do.
