Keldeo and the 3 Muskedeers are a special case though, as they were designed to be an homage to an 80's anime based on the 3 Musketeers - hence the retro stylization. Keldeo's pretty much Dartagnan as a cartoon horse, right down to his distinctive hat - resolute forme basically taking the look of his hat in promotional material, where it looks pointier and fancier, as opposed to the rounder brim in the series itself.
