Even if you have a better way of doing things you realistically have no chance of getting a community the size of smogon to go along with your ideas. Most people are just apathetic and content with the statsu quo and are willing to put up with some of smogons stupid crap. I dont mind a community trying to make a fair set of rules but i hate how they have back room discussions and votes that not everyone is allowed in on. Its kind of amazing how fanboyish some people are towards smogon. Go make a post there questioning any of their decisions and you will have an army of smogonbots all over you.
