In general I agree with your argument, but there are still certain Pokemon that have not yet been shown behaving like creatures or beasts.
I really hope they do, it makes me curious to see what the natural behavior of a Gardevoir or a Gothitelle is like and not just show the pantomimes they have learned from living with humans.
In short, show us monsters, not just your cliche anime-monstergirl
