I tried to help him but he started to run... only to collapse 5 meters away. I took him to a pokecenter, then bring him home. He started to trust me, and i noticed he was very clever, maybe the most clever pokémon i've ever seen. He tried, with signs and mimes, to explain his story to me and i understood he was far away (in Alola, as i learned after), with his girlfriend when a couple of tourist captured her. He followed them to this city and wanted to do all he could to find her again. I helped him, and not long after, we discover the family, just outside the city. As we were watching them, we saw their child, a little girl, playing and cuddling with the gumshoos' girlfriend, and they seemed so happy together that my new friend didn't want to obtrude. Very depressed, he was about to go on his way back when i asked him if he wanted to help me on my job. After one second of reflexion, he agreed, and now he his my "associate". He his the only pokémon i have who refuses to go in his pokéball. I named him – with his consent – Barnabé : it his a very famous TV show's cop.
One day, not long ago, we were in my office when someone knocked at the door. It was a Scrafty, with a note in his hand, who only said "Help me". The owner of the pokémon had been abducted by Team Flare. He only had time to give this note to his pokémon and to asked him to find someone who could help. Asking the street pokémon, Scrafty was directed to my place. I will not tell the whole story but we investigated, we fought against Team Flare and, at the end, we found the old man in good shape. He thanked us, and when he saw the bound that we created, his pokémon and I, he asked me to keep him. So that is how i had Eliott in my team.
