Started in the Indigo plateau. Bought twenty hyper potions, ten full restores, and twenty full heals, like I do every game.
Entered the First Arena, guarded by Will, but with Ishtar's fire punch and thunder punch, all of his pokemon went down quickly.
Moved onto the second arena, guarded by Koga. Ishtar took down his Ariados and Forretress easily enough, but his Muk landed a lucky sludge bomb that poisoned Ishtar. Due to use of double team, his Crobat managed to force me to switch to Mikhail, who got hit by toxic. His venomoth also did a lot of damage to Mikhail, so I once again, switched to Kodachi, who finished it off with steel wing.
Moved on (again) into the third arena, guarded by Bruno. Kodachi took down his hitmontop with steel wing, and his hitmonchan with fly. Unfortunately, his machamp got two cross chops in and Kodachi's health was getting low by the time machamp went down, so when his onix came out, I switched to Garvey, who tanked the inevitable rock slide like a champ. Two earthquakes later, Bruno was defeated.
Moved onto the fourth arena, guarded by Karen. Despite being confused, Montana came through and landed a critical strength against her umbreon. Against her vileplume, Montana took a stun spore, but baited it into a petal dance, which allowed Kodachi to safely switch in and score a one-hit KO with fly. Mikhail took point when her Houndoom came out to play, and took it and her Gengar down with Hydro pump, and finished her Murkrow with Strength.
