Nearly all of his personal matches have ended up in defeats or ties and his winrate went down the shitter. It took dozens of episodes for it to actually master his forme shit and actually WIN a match. If anything, Alan and maybe even Shota are way more Gary Stu's than Ash will ever be.
Shota started as a complete amateur a couple of weeks ago and he ended up getting all the badges and mastering M-Evolution even before Ash did, which is retarded considering the fact that Ash was already 4 badges ahead of Shota.
Meanwhile Alan and his Charizard are the perfect, edgy Gary Stus that fits the name to the bill:
Alan has beaten nearly every Elite 4 Member with ONLY Charizard, Got every single badge in just a couple of days, and as shown in recent episodes, he's also steamrolled every single team he's faced in the league with only Charizard.
By comparison it's almost as if Ash were more competently written that that mess.
