Problem, Flying is a shit type, it doesn't matter.
So, on one hand, this is better than the last gym with it's gay "stealth" puzzle, but like the last two gimmicks this one just...doesn't fucking matter, the weed fog was so far the only one that did anything relevant and had a mechanical interplay with the gym leader's gloom spamming powders and sweetscent, unless "forgettable sandstorm damage+fake out cycling" was actually the plan prior with glowie-kun, but Flying is such a shit type offensively that it really isn't doing anything here but getting chip damage in before I crush birds to death.
A simple 2 layer maze is a better puzzle though. And I like the town in general for at least trying to create the facade of being a city with all its multistory buildings.
Also my dad is Superman, is still mysteriously missing and Candice is here from Sinnoh for...some reason sleeping on someone's couch. Not sure why that is. But there's apparently some shit about a psychic barrier? Precisely why Ivory is putting that up is beyond me, I just randomly got shown it despite having no way of knowing. Didn't even have Hoopa open a portal, just "cutaway to PLOT" and back.
