Nice! I'm in the process of doing some grinding before the first League run in Black. I've actually played through W2, but the furthest I ever made it in Black was 6 badges or so before I gave up my nuzlocke run because I wasn't having any fun with it. Started a new game a weekish ago and I've been having a lot more fun this time around.
Other than pokemon, life in general is pretty good right now. Lots of exciting things starting to happen.

A lot of people will find GBC-era graphics to be nostalgic which increases the comfort factor, and in addition they did a perfect job with the nighttime color palette contrasting with the warm indoor lights.
