Some other anon started this, so let me add on
>"It's nintendo's fault! They're forcing gamefreak to make games too quickly to put effort into them!"
Metroid prime 4 and Animal Crossing NH were both delayed to assure a quality game
>"It's hard to make the animations and models for every pokemon that exists!"
The 3D models and animations for each previous pokemon have already existed since gen 6 and it's clear that they're not planning on using any new animations. Even the walk animations were already made
>"Who cares about some shitmon? You never use them anyways!"
You don't know that for a fact and you never will. Besides, across the millions and millions of people who play pokemon, there are thousands of people who like any given pokemon. This isn't counting the people who, I don't know, have caught em all?
>"God, why do you guys care about graphics? It doesn't matter!"
Graphics is usually subjective, but clipping and rendering issues are seen as objective issues with not only the graphics, but how the game runs overall.
>"Switch cartridges are too small for every pokemon's file size!"
This is 100% gamefreak's fault. It's been confirmed in the code that there were multiple models of the exact same pokemon, which bloated the filesize. If they had even a semblance of confidence (or rather, if they cared enough), they'd be able to fix this.
>"They need to cut pokemon for competitive balance!"
Or they could see how the meta online forms and then ban certain strategies as the game progresses, like how smash and literally any multiplayer online game ever does it.
>"Virgin!/Cuck!/Have sex!/Incel!/Cringe!/Cope!/[other buzzword]"
Not an argument
>"You'll buy it anyway!"
Also not an argument and, judging from the backlash and the massive amounts of people posting their preorder receipts cancelled, also not true.
