He lead with his Skarmory, which had Aerial Ace, stopping me from using Double Team to get away with boosting for free, and it also had Toxic, which would put me on a huge timer if I didn't get rid of it. Despite this though, it also had Spikes which meant I could get some free turns to boost, Aerial Ace didn't deal much damage, especially after an X Defend, and Toxic really liked to miss. I boosted up enough to take out his Cradily with a single Ice Beam due to it having Giga Drain, which would take me out even at full health. The majority of his team barring his Metagross was weak to either Surf or Ice Beam, which meant this was a fight between my Mudkip and his Metagross. I tried to take it out in one hit with Surf, but it managed to survive with a tiny amount of health left, and retaliated with Psychic, leaving me at extremely low health. Because he was about to heal his Metagross, I took the opportunity to go for another Surf, thinking that my first was a low-roll and that this would take him out. I was right, and was beginning to celebrate when he sent out his sixth pokemon, Armaldo. I started to panic due to my low health, but it went down to a single Surf.
