I think some parts of the Jungle should be impassible without climbing up into the canopy and traveling for a distance... So some jungle routes should be 2-3 layers of path stacked on top of each other made into a sort of 3 dimensional maze.
I think victory road should have a bunch of treacherous paths made of a single rope crossing a dark chasm with a bitter wind blowing, if the player runs too fast they get knocked off and transported back to the entrance to the road with a note like "a kind hiker found you and took you to safety"
Also the wind would make it so if you stayed in one place for too long you'd freeze and have to be rescued by a hiker.
if any of the doodle maps get used for actual town inspiration I desperately want Fire island to be covered in colorful mosaics, and I want there to be a cathedral across from the temple to explain why no one in the town worships at the temple anymore.
And I want the buildings in Cliff city to be stacked such that the roof of the houses on the lower level are the paths/walkways in front of the houses above them. (pic sortof explains it)
